The Vandals

The Vandals

As the first band signed to Bad Religion's Epitaph Records in 1982, the Vandals are one of the few bands to continually thrive in an ever-changing punk rock scene spanning four decades. From the Cuckoo's Nest in Orange County, California to CBGBs in New York City–and years of Vans Warped Tour Main Stage appearances in between–The Vandals have been synonymous with punk rock history. In fact, guitarist Warren Fitzgerald and bassist Joe Escalante actually lecture on the subject as popular tour guides through the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. Influenced by punk pioneers like The Damned, DEVO, and The Toy Dolls, The Vandals "punk-can-be-fun" style became influential to punk-megastars like The Offspring, blink-182, and NOFX. To see The Vandals perform their classic hits like “Urban Struggle,” “Anarchy Burger,” “The Legend of Pat Brown,” and “My Girlfriend's Dead” is a rare chance to witness what it was truly like "back in the day."
