Jutes

As a 90s baby, Jutes is constantly referencing and pulling inspiration from the alternative rock bands he grew up on including Nirvana, Deftones, Radiohead and Smashing Pumpkins. Never being able to put Jutes in a box has been a recurring theme from the beginning.

It all started with hip-hop and R&B while living in Toronto. Then after packing his bags and moving to LA to couch surf, Jutes signed to Capitol Records and started making trap-infused pop punk. After a couple years Jutes went back to being independent and released a grunge rock album titled Ladybug. The newest chapter in his story has taken on a dark and cinematic tone. Cross breeding the heaviness of metal and nu metal with an atmospheric hip hop infused indie feel.

Jutes' most recent album Sleepyhead helped catapult him in the genre, lead by the title track that found itself exploding on both streaming and alternative radio. “Sleepyhead” was Jutes’ first ever song to chart on both Billboard and Mediabase at #23. After countless viral clips from a handful of live shows Jutes played at the end of the year, the album has surpassed 50 million global streams and he is set to embark on his first North American headline tour Sleepyhead in April 2025.
